Kvarntorp Mine

A unique environment
underground

Beneath Kvarntorp lies 400,000 m² of underground area divided into 390 rock caverns and an extensive internal road network. Here, large, flexible spaces are combined with existing infrastructure and a naturally stable climate of around 10–12°C all year round.

The result is an unusual environment offering the conditions for a wide range of operations – from industry and technical installations to other specialised establishments.

Why Kvarntorp Mine?

01

Scalability

400,000 m² of underground area makes it possible to establish operations on a smaller scale and expand over time within the same facility.

02

Infrastructure

Access to electricity, fibre, water and an extensive internal road network creates favourable conditions for operations with high demands on technical infrastructure.

03

Stable climate

The underground environment maintains around 10–12 °C year-round, offering stable conditions regardless of weather and season.

04

Security

A controlled underground environment, surrounded by rock and with limited access points, creates favourable conditions for operations with high security requirements.

05

Sustainability

By making use of an existing underground facility, operations can be established and scaled without a corresponding need for new land development and construction.
