Adapt to your needs
The rock caverns can be designed for a wide range of uses, such as storage, production, technical installations, offices and staff facilities.

Infrastructure
Kvarntorp Mine combines existing technical infrastructure with an underground environment that can be adapted to your operations' needs. Electricity, water, fibre and an extensive internal road network are already in place – further solutions can be designed based on the operation's requirements.
Kvarntorp Mine has a well-developed electrical infrastructure with access to high power capacity. Capacity can be adapted and expanded according to operational needs.
The facility has access to approximately 1,500 m³ of groundwater and surface water per day, creating favourable conditions for operations that need process water or water-based cooling.
Existing fibre and communications infrastructure provides a solid foundation for digital connectivity and can be further developed according to operational needs.
Approximately forty kilometres of drivable roads connect the mine's various sections. The road network enables transport with both cars and trucks up to around four metres in height.
Adaptable spaces
Every operation has its own requirements. In Kvarntorpsgruvan, the rock caverns can be adapted to specific needs – from simple storage spaces to fully equipped environments for production, technology and staff.

The rock caverns can be designed for a wide range of uses, such as storage, production, technical installations, offices and staff facilities.
02
Temperature, ventilation and humidity can be adapted to operational requirements, making it possible to create everything from dry, temperate spaces to more specialised environments.
03
Start with the space your operation needs today and expand gradually as needs change. With a large number of rock caverns within the same facility, there is ample room to grow over time.
